With the characteristic smoothness of the Charme series and a subtly tart edge, Charme de bleuet explores the aromas and flavors of wild blueberries. Its aromatic complexity comes from the blueberry vinification process, which extracts the maximum bouquet of flavors from the small fruit. On the nose, Charme de bleuet is fresh, almost minty, and slightly floral. On the palate, its rich texture and herbaceous taste give way to a finish of honey, blueberry, and the distinctive resinous notes of Récif gin.
Like all gin liqueurs in the series, Charme de bleuet is designed to be enjoyed neat as a digestif. When used in cocktails, dose carefully to preserve the delicate flavors of blueberries.

Thanks to a generous donation of 350 kilograms of blueberries from the village of Saint-Elzéar de Bonaventure, its blueberry farm, and Bleuets sauvages du Québec, we created Charme de bleuet to mark the village’s 100th anniversary and celebrate this delicate little fruit.
For this Charme, the blueberries are fermented on the fruit to make a macerated wine, similar to an orange or red wine. Since yeasts work on the skin of the fruit in different ways, different strains may be used from one batch to another, slightly altering the aromatic profile. The fermented blueberries are then pressed, blended with a base of Récif gin, and sweetened with honey from local producers.
Like all spirits in this series, Charme de Bleuets is made from only three local, seasonal ingredients: blueberries, honey, and gin.
